While education within our institute’s classrooms and laboratories is restricted to prescribed syllabic and does equip students with the knowledge and skills required, it is necessary to complement this with periodic real-world exposure that will blend both, theory and practice, and significantly enhance their confidence and self-assurance.
At Pinnacle IHM we are cognizant that young students need to socialize, participate in sports and express their innate selves in order to acquire an appropriate balance that will tangibly improve the quality of their academic outlook and experience. Several social, cultural and literary activities are planned in tandem with but not to the detriment of on-going academics
The term commences with a ‘Freshers Party’ for our newly joined first-year students – a tradition of true Hospitality and a way to say Welcome to Pinnacle IHM!
Theme Lunches, blending cultures and cuisines and celebrating festivals to create the right ambiance will be organized by students under the guidance of faculty members.
Theme Dinners will showcase our Institute, on a larger scale, to the world outside and students will have a chance to display their professional skills, entrepreneurial talent and managerial aptitude. These events will be conceptualized, planned and implemented by the students as a team, giving them a splendid opportunity to prove a point to themselves.
Annual Study Tours would be conducted as a getaway from the academic routine while acquainting students with the commercial aspects of hospitality and cultural aspects of tourism.
Annual Sports Events would be organized with a view to encouraging students to participate and stay healthy in an industry that demands physical fitness and mental stamina. A healthy body is, certainly, the key to a healthy mind!
Quizzes, cultural, literary and hospitality based competitions at infra and inter-collegiate levels, provide students with wide and varied possibilities to express and fulfill themselves.
Students will also be addressed by guest speakers and achievers from hospitality and allied industries, participate in field visits, topographical tours, attend workshops and visit trade exhibitions to keep abreast of the dynamic ‘real world’ of hotels, food and beverage.
Outgoing students would be felicitated at the Annual Valedictory Function and their performance would be recognized by presenting awards for excellence in academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
At Pinnacle IHM we truly believe that such co and extra-curricular activities are the only way that the highest intelligence of the human mind can unfold!
